February Walk

Eunice Powell writes:We had a good walk with the group on Wednesday from West Kirby to Caldy and back over the top and back via Column Hill.  Just me and nine men.  It was really cold walking round the lake but after that it was lovely weather, a real spring day.

Ken Potter the photographer reflects:-Not a bad turnout for February but the weather was mild but cloudy.   Refreshments were taken afterwards at The Ring O'Bells pub.

Liverpool's Christmas Lunch

Liverpool CERSA's photos of their Christmas Lunch on a barge on the Shropshire Union Cananl from Chester (from Ken Potter tell it all). Ken writes:- "The weather was very cold with occasional snow flurries and in places the ice was an inch thick.   So when we hit these Ice Bergs the barge was nearly brought to a stop.   We now realize what it must have like on the Titanic." (Support for RMB members acknowledged.)
